FairyCakes

The newest cupcake truck in San Jose, FairyCakes, made its debut at the Movable Feasts March 2012 and has been growing in popularity since. On its grand opening, FairyCakes sold out in under three hours entering the feast attached to a tow truck.

Now, I don’t know about any of my other readers out there but a food truck who puts in the effort to still show up attached to a tow truck has my respect. Perseverance will get you far and paired dedication and loyalty to your customers will never hurt your business.

Ever since I’ve been attending Movable Feasts on Friday nights on Curtner, I noticed that FairyCakes has consistently served a long line of adoring customers. The truck was decorated with some fairy themed decals that captured my eye. I couldn’t help but investigate this magical food truck.

I feasted my eyes on the simplistic menu and looked over their vast variety of cupcakes. Everything was fairly priced; it was $3.00 for any cupcake. Some of the more interesting and unique cupcakes that caught my eye were the Raspberry Zinger, Pineapple Upside-Down Cake, and Black Forest.

A cool deal that they put out was buy five cupcakes and get the 6th free! Who doesn’t love free stuff? To check out more of their massive cupcake selection you can also check out their official website that I posted the link to at the bottom. And just to tickle your taste buds a bit more here are some mouth watering pictures from their official website.

If you’ve ever heard of Kara’s Cupcakes or Sprinkles, you definitely need to try this food truck. These delicious treats of delight would make the grinch smile and poop rainbows.
